MARS has conducted specialized training on International Humanitarian Law, its practical application on the ground, the challenges facing the law, and the consequences of its violations. They have also worked on advocating for the law, promoting it, and educating others about it.
In this context, workshops and training sessions on International Humanitarian Law have been organized for civilians and stakeholders on the ground. The aim is to encourage these entities to commit to the rules and principles of International Humanitarian Law and apply them during conflict.
Project Objectives:
- Reducing the harm inflicted on individuals, their properties, finances, and the environment due to armed conflicts.
- Providing a minimum level of humanitarian protection for civilians during armed conflicts and wars.
- Restricting the rights of conflict parties in choosing methods and means of warfare on the battlefield following the rules of international humanitarian law.
